CUSTOM STAGES & REUSABLE CHECKLISTS

What’s drying?
What’s ready to glaze?

Give each order a place in your process. Set up stages for throwing, drying, glazing and firing, so the next job is easy to find.

Keep a checklist for the details you repeat. Use it for the next batch, with a fresh set of checks.

Sanding and finishing? Cutting and sewing? Name the stages for the work you do.

CHIPPY, YOUR STUDIO ASSISTANT

Ask Chippy.
Keep making.

Ask about stock, costs or an order without hunting through records. Chippy can also save changes you request; check its answers and saved work.

The six bags need 3 m of linen. You have 12 m available, so there’s enough. Review the order first; starting it will reserve the linen.

A FEW PRACTICAL QUESTIONS

Before you join.

Browse the help centre
Is this useful for a one-person studio?

Yes. Start with the materials, products and orders you already work with. A potter can track clay, glaze, product costs and orders through their own stages. The same tools work for woodwork, textiles, candles and other small-batch businesses. MakeFlow manages studio work; it doesn’t book classes or schedule kilns.

Why use this instead of a spreadsheet?

The details connect: material quantities and purchase costs feed into product costing; products become customer orders; orders move through production. You can see what is reserved, what needs making and what needs attention in the same workspace.

Can I import a spreadsheet or sync my online shop?

Etsy and Shopify connections are in development. The preview above shows the order-review flow with sample data. Live shop sync and bulk CSV import aren’t available yet; you can add orders directly in MakeFlow.

Do I have to use the AI assistant?

No. You can manage materials, products, orders and production directly. Chippy offers another way to ask about your studio and get help. AI features have usage limits that vary by plan.

Can I export my information?

You can export orders and material inventory as CSV files from their respective views. This covers those records; it is not a full-workspace backup.

What happens when I join early access?

Leave your name and email. We’ll email you when you can set up your studio. Joining the waitlist is free. Your 14-day trial begins when your account is created; the waitlist doesn’t start it or a paid subscription.
